HOST FAMILY

All accommodation options begin on Sunday and end on Saturday morning . Students that stay with a host family may have the option of half board . As not all families accept this, please inform of your request in advance.

Every family is different and every Diálogo host family is different. They might live in a big house or a small one. You may find yourself living with only one host parent. Perhaps it's a quiet household, where it is easy to get on with your homework, or maybe you will find yourself invited to join in so many activities that you have to turn some down. Whatever they are like, we make sure that your family will:

• Be suitable. Our staff visits every single host family to make sure that they can offer the facilities that a student needs, from a clean, comfortable room to a desk to study at.
• Be welcoming. Host families are encouraged to treat you as a member of the family. That might mean you're expected to help with the washing up, or laying the table! But it also means you'll be included in family conversation and activities.
• Be convenient for school. We select host families who are within reasonable walking distance of your school.

Host families allow the student to directly sample the Bahian way of life through day to day contact with Brazilians. To make it easier for us to find the right family for you, please fill out the form giving as much information and preferences as possible.

GUEST HOUSE

All accommodation options begin on Sunday and end on Saturday morning. Extra nights can be acquired if the student needs to arrive before Sunday or leave after Saturday. Double rooms can only be booked by two people travelling together, which means that clients cannot book one half of a double room.

Guesthouse includes:

- 4km from the school and from the beach of Barra
- Convenient access to direct city buses to the school

The guesthouse offers simple and cheap accommodation near the historic center. It´s perfect for young people or backpackers who like to be close to the best nightlife in town. It takes the students 20 to 30 minutes by bus to get to the school or to the beach.

SIMPLE HOTEL

This area offers vibrant night life with many bars and restaurants. There is a large shopping mall nearby, with cinemas, restaurants, banks and post office.

TOURIST CLASS HOTEL

All accommodation options begin on Sunday and end on Saturday morning. Extra nights can be acquired if the student needs to arrive before Sunday or leave after Saturday. Double rooms can only be booked by two people travelling together, which means that clients cannot book one half of a double room.

APARTMENT

If you prefer to rent an appartment close to the beach, please ask the school for more information. We do not work with apartment rental, but will be pleased to pass you a list of companies and people who work with it.

HOSTEL

It includes:

. Direct on the beach (50 m)
. Walking distance from the school (15 minutes)
. Basic kitchen
. Small laundromat
. Rooms with fan or air conditioning
. 4 to 6 pax room 

Price: according to season. 

This is a cheap and good option for young people or backpackers who like to go out at night, being close to the school and to beach.  This is also a possibility to meet people from other parts of Brazil as well as practice your Portuguese.
