CULTURAL PROGRAM
The school offers to all students a weekly cultural progam. There are excursions to museums and sight seeing tours, festivals and ritual celebrations of candomblé, concerts, soccer games, bicycle tours in public parks, etc. All excursions are accompained by a guide of the school. Fees for transport, entrance, food and beverages are not included and must be payed by the students.
EXCHANGE PROJECT
In cooperation with some language schools in Salvador we are offering an opportunity to take part in a free language exchange. There are many Brazilians here in Salvador who are learning English, German, French or Italian and would love the opportunity to meet regularly with a native speaker. Likewise, speaking with native Brazilians is an invaluable way to improve your Portuguese. Our program helps you meet Brazilians so that you can practice Portuguese. If you participate in the Exchange-Project , your knowledge of Portuguese should improve rapidly.
It works like this:
- Talk to the coordinator at the Diálogo School , and he will give you the name and phone number of a suitable Brazilian language partner.
Contact your new language partner.
- Together, decide on a time and a place to meet (for example at Diálogo, at a bar or restaurant, at the beach, or in private).
- During the meeting choose tasks that you can work on together. For example, you could talk about your families, your interests, or your countries. You could study grammar, read texts, or do your homework together.
- You decide when and how often you want to meet.

INTERCULTURAL MEETINGS
Twice a month, the school organizes meetings for foreign and Brazilian students to contact. This is a good opportunity to meet native Baianos, exchange experiences and make new friends. These meetings take place Friday nights. Fees for transport, food and beverages are not included.
AIRPORT PICK UP
"Deputado Luis Eduardo Magalhães", the only international airport of Salvador , is 30 km from the city center. From there you can take a taxi or a bus.
The school offers a pick-up service. A bilingual guide will pick you up and bring you to your hotel or homestay. A reservation must be made for this service, using the application form and costs R$ 95,-.
In case of fligh delay, the student has to contact our guide at least 3 hours in advance. Otherwise it will be considered as "No Show" and the school will not refund the money.

FREE INTERNET ACCESS
The school offers a free and fast Internet access as well as wireless internet. Furthermore, there are many Internet cafes next to the school, which cost 1 or 2 dollars per 30 minutes.
