Subject of Agreement: The subject of this agreement is the language and culture program described in the web site. The school reserves the right to effect changes insofar as they prove necessary for the success of the program. If the program has not been executed correctly in concordance with the contract, the participant must communicate this to the direction at the school.
Payment Schedule: Should the participant register less than 2 weeks before the course starts, the total amount must immediately be paid in full. All payments must be made in local currency and at the average exchange rate; bank fees must be paid by the participant. The course can only be attended if all payments have been made.
Courses booked by way of travel or language agencies: All bookings made by an agency can only be changed in agreement with the responsible agent, respecting the terms and conditions of the valid contract between participant and agency.
Changes of programs and classes:
1. Changes of schedule - If necessary, the school has the right to change the class schedule in agreement with the participants.
2. Group courses - In the event that there is only one student enrolled in a group course, the program will be changed to private lessons. The student must pay the price of a one-to-one class. If there are only two students enrolled in a group the classes will be reduced to 75%.
3. Missed classes - No refund will be granted for missed classes or services not utilized by the participant.
4. Official holidays - Classes not held because of official announced local, national or international holidays will not be compensated or replaced.
5. Visa and Insurance: Each participant must comply with immigration and currency regulations and assume the consequences in case of non-observance of said regulations. Participants are responsible for any damages they cause to their lodging. The course fee does not include any insurance coverage.
Cancellation by participant: If the participant wishes to cancel the registration, it must be done in writing.
1. If the cancellation is no later than 2 weeks before the program starts, the school retains only the prepaid deposit.
2. If the participant wants to change the dates of the program, the school will credit the paid amount to the new invoice.
3. If the participant cancels the program less than 2 weeks before the program starts, the school retains 40% of the total paid amount.
4. After the programs start the school charges 100% of the services used by the participant and retains 60% of the cancelled services.
The school recommends that participants contract insurance against travel cancellation. If the program cannot be implemented due exceptional circumstances (strikes, natural catastrophes, risk of war, revolts, riots), the costs already incurred may be retained or invoiced.
Cancellation by Diálogo School: The school reserves the right to cancel the contract if the participant behaves irresponsibly and to the detriment of other students participating in the courses, even after having been advised not to do so. The amount to be refunded to such a student remains at the discretion of Diálogo School.
Diálogo School is not responsible for accidents, illnesses, losses and crimes which participants may suffer during the course. The school guarantees that the description of the services contained on the website are up to date. |
